Any tub owners out there that have a tub for two people?
What do you recommend in terms of size? 60 inch? 72 inch? Corner? Pros/cons?
I see some tubs online that claim to be two people tubs and have pretty awesome seeming features (mood lights/radios etc) but have 60 inch sides (corner tub). Does this seat two people comfortably?
Would you trade size for features?
Your insight appreciated!

Don't just select a tub online. Go to a reputable dealer and ask questions. Sit in the tubs to try out the seats. Some will let you even do a wet test if they have that model with water in it.

A hot tub is too big an investment to buy from a picture.

Avoid the bells and whistles. They just add a lot of cost for little benefit.

I agree that the extras will just date the tub in a few years and most are tacky.
You can add those extras, like music, etc in other ways that are more easily changed.

Our two person tub is 41 x 71 and fits two people nicely.

Default H,mmmm I think a standard 60 incher will do.

Well if you can get a nice girl on a date in your tub what does it really matter? I've never found they like to sit much. More the shower that saves water by including more than one. Prancing and jumping might be occurring.

Monkey bars might be sort of nice. Some activities you do need a place to grab and hold on tight.

Nice and snug, so you have to intermingle parts if you got to do that sitting stuff.

Our home has a garden tub about 54" long inside. Tis a silly thing. About the only good thing is that the jets of water can work some muscle cramps down. A pig trough would make a better bathtub. Now a pig trough with mood lights and music could be interesting...

This thread is going south FAST.

I actually agree with Cosmic. A big comfy shower is probably a better environment, particularly with some side-jet options and/or direct overhead rain spout.

Consider a pair of carabiners fastened to the joists for auxiliary equipment.

We added a little room on to our bedroom for a small spa. The one we got is called a Belize Oval and is like a big two person bathtub with jets. We like it a lot.
