That's a beautiful house! A classic.

That's beautiful! I love all the trees, and the size looks perfect for me. Around here, that is a dream home since it would cost a million dollars... Is it located in New Jersey?

No, it's in SC.

There's no house like that in NJ I could afford. My taxes are only going to be around 1,000 a month. In NJ (where I live now) the taxes would be around 12,000 and that's not including the land I'm getting. I feel sad to move away from NJ, I was crying the other day....I've never been that far from NYC before and I love that city.

I love the house Rapture! It looks beautiful.

Don't worry, NYC is only a day's drive away. It starts to be no big deal. Trust me, I've already done it 6 times since July (with three little ones in tow). You'll get your city fix here and there.

Default Some More of my Scranton Area Dream Homes!

Don't laugh! I truly can see this beautiful gem as being a "diamond in the rough" with just a little bit of elbow grease and TLC. This home is in a stable neighborhood within walking distance to Downtown Wilkes-Barre. If I wasn't partial to Scranton, then this home has "BUY ME PAUL" written all over it!

These old rowhomes are mostly owned by King's College, but I could definitely see myself living in one of these and meandering around Center City Wilkes-Barre.

Some more Wilkes-Barre homes that truly turn me on! Unfortunately, some of these have since been converted from single-family homes into professional offices, campus buildings for Wilkes University, etc., but I could still picture myself raising my family in any one of them!

Some more lovely potential dream homes for myself in the Green Ridge section of Scranton.

Some homes from lovely, out-of-the-way Honesdale, PA that truly make me swoon!

More historic charm from quaint Tunkhannock, PA.

Some homes from my future neighborhood in Scranton.

How some of you folks can swoon for suburbia when our historic towns are so beautiful is beyond me!

I found my dream home except there is one problem... Plaidmom owns it! lol She has posted some great pics of her house and I LOVE it. SWB great thread! Will you be my "manny"? You have impeccable taste! If I win the lottery, I'll buy you any of those dream homes as long as you locate it and decorate. Plus our goldens will get along fine I think

OMG....HOUSE PORN!

And here I am with my Italian chocolate in one hand and a nice Pinot in the other.

I live in a 1930's Tudor (which I adore!), but my vacation home ('someday') will be a small MCM/minimalist gem!
