Hi all:

My last post about this icemaker got resolved, and I'm thankful for the help. Now, what I have is an issue where the helix cap has come off the end of the agitator. It had actually come loose, then I kinda forced it back in place, which snapped off one of the tabs. So, knowing how hard it is to get back in place, I know I'm going to have trouble with it when I buy the part. The agitator seems to work OK, so I only need to buy the helix cap.

Any advice for me?

Eric, the key to getting the helix cap back on is gentle pressure. That, and good alignment. If it is lined up correctly, applying even pressure should click it back on.
