we went to *gasp* a big box store last weekend to get some home supplies (hey, we had a gift card, and they were the only store that would deliver a dishwasher to our town for free). Got some new bathroom vent/fan/light fixture combos. They were way more than DesertSun said they'd be, but they are worth it because we put them in this weekend and they WORK!!! they look a lot nicer too.
Hubby put a short flex-vent up thru the insulation in the attic and then let them be free from there because he agrees with the cold-attic theory that here in WY we are ok venting into the attic. There are plenty of vents up there. If there's a problem later we can change it, but for now we are enjoying hot showers without water collecting on the walls and dripping everywhere.....
....Oh wait, no we
aren't! Because as soon as we got so much done this weekend, the water heater went out
