What have you done with your concrete patio?

I just bought my house, but the previous owners just had a concrete patio and they wanted something different and also something bigger. They re-barred into the existing concrete patio to add onto it, then covered the entire thing in flagstone. It really looks great!

We have 2000 sq ft of stamped concrete patios, paths and driveway. Because we did not want the upkeep of decks. They are great. Ours are black and we have resealed them once in 4 years. They have a gorgeous sheen, almost like they are wet. A good concrete guy can reseal your concrete and even add color.

Thanks for all the input! I really appriciate knowing how well different things stood up over time. Once we decide and complete the project, I'll post back some pictures. Right now, I am really leaning towards staining.
