looks to me like you need to do a litle reserach by googling window repalcement and decide for yourself if its within your skill level. No one can really answer that but you.

I'd also suggest that if you have any large windows, you let the professionals replace them. When they come to do the work, be there to watch how they do it. That way you can determine if your skill set is capable of doing the smaller ones. That's what I did. I had them replace a 5'x10' window and determined I could do the same, plus I didn't have to deal with the biggest one.

If you're having a carpenter install new framing, then there is a posibility he will be opening up enough area under the trim to buy slightly smaller "new" construction windows. Then he would be able to install them and put up interior/exterior trim as well. If you've got a carpenter there for a work day anyway, it's cheaper than having another "window" guy come later. Also, new construction windows can cost 50% less than "replacement" . I've been gutting my own houses the last 20 years and the last house I did had 42 windows to replace. Besides I'm really frugal.

Thanks all for the the suggestions and tips.

I did try to research window replacement and saw some videos online.
Of course with the videos, they make this look very easy, LOL.

Maybe I'll someone come out and replace just window and see if I can do the rest...

I should contact Renovation Reality for this
