I'd be so mad I'd be out there in the middle of the night with a can of white paint and a roller removing eveyone's number on the curb all down the street! (LOL)

Dish and UPS aren't massive emergencies.

I'm sure I wouldn't mind the wrong number since I don't even have ANY number anywhere on my house, mailbox, or curb!

I wish my "house problems" were this "big".

I would be mildy perturbed. Then I would go fix it myself. This entire experience would take up less than 30 minutes of my life.

The amount of time spent writing this and calling people it could have already been fixed. I might be mildly upset but it is certainly not a massive emergency or something to get seriously upset about. There are way to many other things in life to worry about. To answer your question how mad would you be-me personally I would not be mad at all.

A big can of white paint (Well, maybe not so big)
A paint brush or roller
A trip to the hardware store.

Paint over the number.
Buy numbers at the hardware store and nail them on the front of your house (ours are on the garage).
Call the non profit and inform them that they are no longer allowed to paint your number on the curb.
Have your attorney send them a registered letter to that effect.

Relax and have a few Divide By Three Margaritas.

3 cups mix (Jose Cuervo is good)
1 cup tequila
1/3 cup triple sec

Wow OP... Way to get the bloodpressure up over something that would literally take 30 seconds with a can of paint to fix. Just do it yourself already. In the time you spent whining about it here you could have done yours and all of your neighbors' numbers too.

<snort> Funny stuff.

Fire truck comes roaring down the street, lights flashing, sirens blaring, bell ringing...

"I know there is a fire here at number 5, but I can't find the house!"

"Uhhh, George, see that smoke over there and the guy with his panties in a bunch waving his arms at us?"

Police cars converge and swat team suits up and gets out their battering ram...

"OK Agents Gomez and Lister, you batter in the door to number 5, and Svenson and Wallace, you rush in, just like in practice."

... door to utility shed is crushed and the lawnmower is arrested.

Bill collector knocks on door. Homeowner answers.

"Oh! You want number 5. This is number 9. See the number painted on the street?"

Changing a 9 to a 5 should be really easy. One little stroke of the brush to open the loop. No biggie. Then follow Tek's recipe for a big margarita and admire your work.
