Call one and schedule an appointment.
Have them come out and do the work.

In all seriousness, if you have to come on a forum to ask how to rewire an outlet don't do it. Some things are DIY, and some are not. This falls in the latter of the two categories.

You don't convert it. You call an electrician to add the correct plug.




Honestly, the cost of hiring an electrician might be more expensive than the $500 or so it costs ot buy a 220V window A/C unit. Smallest size I see is around 15K BTU, and they draw less amps than a 120v unit so energy cost to run it may be less. Would need to see specs on two units to make an official claim to that however.
