I think things are starting to look bleaker for this now. they went from a December 2009 anticipated groundbreaking to a mid 2011 anticipated groundbreaking. Now they have to go back to the drawing board now? They're re-phasing it from 500 million to 300 million? That's nearly 50% of the financing. Scalebacks to this project are definite.

I had a feeling that it would take longer than expected to build this. Hopefully it won't completely go away, but it could be awhile before anything gets done.

Doesn't sound like anything bad at all. Actually, looks like good news since it says investors are still lined up. They just want it rephased, which isn't a big deal.

No, they're just taking things out of the first phase. The hotel, waterpark, and EarthWalk most notably. They are just going to build the theme park only first and once revenue comes in from that, they'll open up the other phases. They aren't scaling back the project at all.

Oh ok, thanks for clarifying that.

Wow, you guys really are dreamers. This thing is dead as a doornail. Can't you read between the lines?

How about you explain your statement. I don't see how it is dead, when all they are doing is taking things out of the first phase and putting it into the second. The theme park will be built first (obviously), so they can start generating revenue before building EarthWalk, the water park, and resort hotel. Plus, the investors are there. The article listed them. Some people seem to not want it to happen, just to prove to those that do want it to happen wrong.
