There's plenty of dancing, with a mix of contemporary music and some songs dating back to the 80s and 90s. I went there a few years ago when I was in my late 30s with a gang of my lady friends and we enjoyed ourselves.

I haven't been lately, so I can't vouch for how it is now, but it's been around for over 20 years now (which for Houston is quite amazing), and it seems to be pretty consistent with respect to its clientele and so on.

I hope this helps.
Lol, that place looks so dead. Its like a restarurent.

The Hop in Clear Lake/Webster is for over the 40's I think. Place doesn't look like much from outside but it seems to have been going strong for years. It's been there forever.

Texas User, "looking dead" and actually being dead are two different things. Have you actually been inside the place on a Saturday night? I wouldn't say it looks like a RESTAURANT - I believe it's in the bottom floor of some kind of office building. The last time I was there they had valet parking, which may resemble a restaurant.

Regardless, I would tell the OP to check it out. It hasn't been around for 25 years for nothing.

I went there last Friday night with a girlfriend. It was pretty full with people over 40.....good music, drinks a little pricey....
