Is this really how the Galleria area is going to look?

I've seen you around on HAIF. You're member name is "Houston?" isn't it?

Maybe, but I believe A,B,and C were cancelled. I'm not sure about E,F,and G.

You can kind of tell which skyscrapers are going to be cancelled according to the height. IDK why, but it seems 50+ story buildings are less likely (currently) to be built in the South except for maybe Miami.

Still Happening:
- The 80 Story Tower is still on board, and they have NOT cancelled it
- The 55 Story Tower next to the 80 story Tower is from the same developer, it is also still on board too, and NOT cancelled
- A few of the BLVD Place Towers will be built, but nothing as tall as it was before, more like 20's-30's story range, I think 2 towers for now and maybe more later

Cancellations:
- 66 Story Ritz Carlton Tower (Man I loved the design for this too, what a shame)
- 50 Story Tower next to it
- Turnberry (Whatever the hell this was, lol)

And for the record, the 80 Story Tower & 55 Story Tower's are a confidential project, we're not allowed to know anything besides whether its happening or cancelled, the developer wants to maintain his level of privacy. He hasn't cancelled it, bought the land, has done infrastructure work. So its still on board. That's all I know, and that's pretty much all the HAIF Team knows also.

BLVD Place is seeing a resurrection with its towers, it initially scrapped them, but brought them back (although down scaled) and so far they're intact. We'll know more about it when they release more information, which is every 3 months or so. So we'll have to wait until then.

For the Turnberry Project, I don't even know what that was about or what it looked like. LOL so it wasn't very important anyways. Adios to them, and hopefully someone else will replace them soon enough (most probably).

I don't believe those to are canceled. Go visit the BLVD Place construction site. They just recently put up photos and renderings basically saying "this building will go here" and are doing more site work. Now, they were scrapped at one time, but came back to the renderings with more modern designs (though they took out the cool rotunda that BLVD Place was going to have).

Can't wait for the 80 story project. Will that be a new tallest for the city when completed? What's the height of the city's current tallest scraper?

Wouldn't it be nice if Houston had a few pointy skyscrapers? I think the skyline would be more impressive.
