Houston has made Kiplinger.com’s list as one of the Top 10 Great Cities for Young Adults.

The cities were selected based on youth-friendly factors such as large percentages of people under 35 years old, cost of living and rental costs, culture, nightlife and the time spent in traffic.
According to the list: “Houston offers great job prospects and exciting big-city amenities at a price so low, even struggling grads can afford it.”
The city was also chosen because of its diversity, as more than 1 million of Houston’s inhabitants were born outside of the U.S. Houston’s diverse economy, rents below the national average, one of the country’s best restaurant scenes, vibrant nightlife and its proximity to Gulf Coast beaches were also listed as pros for young people living in the city.

Houston is finally getting the recognition it deserves, but I kinda liked it the way it was when it wasn't "under the radar" so to speak.
