My dad who lives in TN will be flying through tomorrow. I live in Sugar Land, and he's flying through Bush. I'm planning on going up there and taking him out to lunch. He has about a 2 hour layover.

Question I have is: Are there any decent restaurants we can go to? I'll have my two year old daughter with me too, so we'll need a family friendly place.

Reps for great answers!

Well, Restaurant Week just started and you can try many of top places for a fixed price of $20 per person for 2 course lunch. They have a website, so check it out for your area.

Me and my mom had a delayed flight, so we took the Airport tram to one of the other terminals and had a nice lunch. Nothing memorable, but at least it was convenient.

It's not worth the stress of leaving the airport area. Pick one of the hotels there and hit the restaurant.

Probably the best option is the Airport Marriott which is right between terminal B and C. You can take the underground train (not the elevated tram) and it has a stop at the Marriott.

I cant think of any other decent places outside security.

Hey guys, he actually has about three hours. Does that make a difference? I don't see us being able to into the airport. With a two year old and trying to find parking, wouldn't it be easier to just pick him up at the terminal, take him to eat somewhere, and bring him back 45 minutes or so before boarding? I'm not that familiar with Bush, so I could be missing something.
