Can you recommend good apartments to check out in Houston? I will be visiting next week and I want to see apartment communities that are well kept, recently built and a good price for a 2 bedroom.

Haven't been over there in awhile so maybe it's been rebuilt but I thought Allen House was built way back in the 60's...good location though.

What is the name of the apartments on Washington & Heights, I forgot? Very nice, gated, good management, safe, not expensive...I used to live there for a while.

Thank you for your recommendations. I have learned more about that part of Houston from your suggestions. I looked up The Core and it is really nice, but out of my price range. Allen House does look a bit old. I am interested in paying around 850, for a 2 bedroom.
