This means reduction of temperature and humidity?

Strict policies on smog inspection?

elimination of various gases?

I thought I heard city council a few weeks ago talking about relocating houston to montana during the summer months to help with the heat problems. That would be really cool.

It's easier to get rid of the whiners than the heat.

That is so true. Hell is hotter than this. So why complain?

You know, I hope they do.

Smog, pollution is something that is seen in nearly every auto-centric city. And yes, I do believe in all technicality of the word they are reducing it.

Have you seen the new urban plans?

- To build more sidewalks to emphasize walkable areas.
- To expand upon cost efficient and environmentally safe mass transit.
- To bring in trolleys to serve around downtown
- Object is to reduce traffic to clear up congestion thus limiting mass smog problems.
... among other projects also... too much to keep count...

The city itself doesn't know it's doing it to make the atmosphere more livable with these projects but they will environmentally be getting rid of quite a load of congestion and smog.

Kudos, but it would be nice if they directly attacked this and emphasized these problems more. I think with the direction into green energy it cant be long until they address this if they want to become a green energy powerhouse. (this part is just my personal opinion and is in no way a fact)

The other plan, suggested by Reliant, was for everyone to turn their AC down low and open all the windows and doors.

They are going to cover the entire city with a giant air conditioned dome. The dome is being financed and built by the same guys as Earthquest Adventures.
