It's the perfect location.
Thanks for the info.

Im not exaggerating. I live inside of the loop, like so many others who this is supposed to appeal to.

Six Flags in the Atlanta area is on the western edge of the metro, so it's not close for people in Gwinnett and Rockdale. Everyone isn't going to be close to the amusement park.

What makes you say that, aside from the idea you seem to have that everything in the world is supposed to be marketed to people exactly like you?

I imagine it will appeal mainly to families with children no matter where they live. Those same families take the kids to Disney. This will be closer and allow for more trips. There are families that live closer to New Caney and more will probably move closer.

In the Chicago area, we had Great America. It's about an hour from the downtown, but pretty well frequented by families in all areas of Chicago and it's not as unusual or nice at earthquest will be.

The fact that this is a Houston area theme park and there are so many people living in the innercity area.

Amusement parks are rather space-intensive. That was a big part of Astroworld's problem. Space is generally more expensive/valuable closer in. That's why in most cities the amusement park, stadiums etc. are on the fringes of the city. Astroworld was such a park. That whole area was BFE before the 60s. Not anymore.

That surely is some nice information but it doesn't make it any more appealing

Well where did you expect the park to be??? Placing the park relatively far outside of the city isn't anything unusual. This may be unappealing to you, but many would find it appealing.
