We are moving to Katy from Amarillo, TX when school is out. My 8 year-old daughter has been involved in ballet since she was 3. Any recommendations for dancing studios in Katy?

I have heard good things about Becky's School of Dance and Adamson Ballet Academy, though I don't have any firsthand knowledge of either of them myself. Both are in the South Katy area. Good luck!

Adamson Ballet school can't be beat... especially for classical trained Ballet. It is at Mason & Kingsland (S of I-10)

You should see how people line up the day of open registration... 2 hours before door opening!

And it's affordable ($60/mo, 1hr class, for ex) and *real* teachers, not teenagers, even for the little ones.

Anyway, I have 3 daughters who go there, we're very happy there.

I have to reccomend Juleigh Holley's School of Dance. This is a fantastic studio. The instructors focus on teaching technique and not just movement. My daughter has taken from this studio for 4 years and even as a 3 year old, could use correct ballet terms. Juleigh is very involved with the kids and runs a fantastic program.
