Thanks for all the advice! The main problem with most of the shelters is that they will put the cat down if they are not able to find the home. I do not want that to happen to poor cats. Also, all the cats are females so more cats to come in the future.

The SPCA has a night drop. Drop them off there. On the back of the building there are drop "kennels". You can go in the dead of night and nobody asks any questions. I've done that before.

If you REALLY love the cats, go get them fixed now, THEN start looking for homes. Otherwise, you just become part of the problem.

CAPS neuters the cats. I think they really have good luck with the young cats as to adoption. The day I went, kittens were being adopted right and left. What is sad there is no one is adopting the older cats nor the big dogs. Lots of Labs there.

There are many "no kill" shelters in the Houston area. Google them.

There are plenty of low cost programs like SNAP on Durham Drive and their mobile clinics where you can take the cats to have them spayed. If you are unable to find a home for them and you keep them ... spay them right away so at least you will have these three cats only.

As cruel as it may sound... an abortion and spay can still be done. The alternative is to have more unwanted kittens with no homes, bound to live on the streets, to starve to death/or be killed by cars, etc.

Now that was funny.

Do NOT contact my 9-year-old daughter about this issue.

Seriously, it takes a lot of leg-work to deal with humane help for cats.

Best of luck.
