Any conversation about great Houston food begins and ends with Chuy's. Thanks to everyone else for playing.

Personally not a fan of Papa's... at least not Papa's BBQ. Didn't bother trying the rest after that experience.

I don't care for pappasitas overpriced texmex at all; although everyone seems to love it and it is always on the list of recommended (not by me) restaurants for those visiting Houston.

Hillstone Restaurant Group - Houston's/Bandera etc is based in Beverly Hills.

Chik Fil A.... Really?? BTW They're Headquartered in College Park, Georgia.

Chuy's is awesome, but there HQ is in Austin, not Houston.

I don't believe the OP was looking for restaurant chains that were HQ'd in Houston... he was just looking for places in Houston. All of the above fit the bill
