The mornings are cool and the humidity is going down. It's beginning to feel like ealry June. Two more weeks and the afternoon beer drinking will begin at my favorite bar with a nice patio.

I hope this winter isn't anything like last winter. It was way too cold.

This morning was the first time in a long time that I was able to drive with my window down...

It's still pretty hot out there. But it's getting there.

This morning was nice and warm with a little breeze. If every morning was like that, I think I'd like Houston a lot more.

I'm looking at WUnderground right now and it says it was still in the low 90s all the way through October 15 last year. Then it dropped about 15 degrees and stayed there. November touched 80 a few times and same goes for upper 70s in December. I also remember rebuilding a fence post-Ike in October and sweating my butt off. So I'm giving "summer" one more month.

That's exactly what I was thinking this morning as I got my kids into their car seats without breaking out in a sweat.

Default Agree...

It was nice and cool in far West Katy... did anyone note the temps this morning? For sure in the low 70s I am guessing.

I know I am pretty much the only one on this forum that feels this way -- but I am sad to see summer end. It is my favorite time of the year. I love the heat. Bye bye summer; hello fall.

I sure hope you are right. I love the period of time I don't have to turn ANYTHING on - heat or AC - in between our tiny winter and our long summer.
