i was buying the tickets at ticketmaster for tonights game.. just the cheapest tickets $7.. then there are other fees which made it become $12/ticket..

should i just buy at the gate and actually only pay $7/ticket ?

i am assuming tickets wont be sold out anyway..

Yeah you should be able to walk up and purchase without any problems. Ticketmaster/Stubhub etc suck!

Probably not tonight. Robert Earl Keene is performing after the ball game.
Ask about some promotion tickets they always have. $20 for game and treats. At $5.00 for a bottle of water you may come out better. Earlier this week they flashed a sign for tickets and all you could eat. I was not paying much attention, but it looked liked a good deal.

Robert Earl Keen, a balladeer, is a kind of cult figure around here. He went to A+M at the same time as another Houston musician, Lyle Lovette. Bet you never heard of him either. We grannies are kinda proud of the hometown boys who did well.

Only reason why I heard of Lyle is he was married to Julie and looks like a rat. I guess she felt sorry for him. Lucky SOB

Hahahahaha...just learned something new.
They used to have all sorts of promotion tickets, check out their website. Some days, they give out jerseys, etc. Poweraid used to have this promotion if you bring in a label from a large poweraid bottle, on certain weeknights (Tues?), tickets were 2/$2. Can't beat that!!
