I was talking to my son (Okinawa, US Army) and he reminded me that when I die, they plan on burying me in the back yard. Can't do that at the apartment complex.

Just sayin'...

They will have to disclose that there is a body in the back yard when they sell the house. It really hurts the re-sell value - unless they can really put a positive spin on that. You can dig up the skeleton for a great yard decoration at Halloween! Your kids can take it to school for Show-and-Tell!

The way these home owners associations are, it's probably against the rules and they might try to come after you!

But you could do that in a rented HOUSE. People do it with their pets all the time

Think fertilizer. Just have them bury you under a tree. Then they can still hug you after you're long gone . If it's a fruit tree then they can have part of you too .
