I have custom curtains I need installed. Homeowner left the curtains when I purchased the home. Painters repainted the home and did not replace the curtains (was not in contract).

Contacted curtain installers to install:
Living room (20 ft)
Dining Room (12 ft)
Study
breakfast area (valence only)
Master bedroom
Master bath
3 additional bedrooms
Game room

Ther installers will need to purchase a few rods, and other minor hardware.

Guess what the proposal was? $1300 Does this sound right?

Do you have any recommednations for curtain installers?

My recommendation is to get a drill and a tape measure and do it yourself... or pay me $1299 to do it!

Sorry, not so helpful...

I would get a handyman to do it. They will charge a fraction of what the curtain installers want.

Ditto! Now the 20 ft ones would be tricky but the others should be a breeze.

You can buy a very nice ladder for 1/2 of the installation cost. If you are decent at arithmetic, you can do this yourself
