Don't laugh but the Bass Pro Shops in Pearland has a pretty good Santa's Wonderland. They a Santa with a high quality setup. The photo is free. They also have games and toys setup to play with. There is also a crafts table for stockings and ornaments.

I never had been to BPS before and though it was funny that other parents were suggesting it but I left impressed.

Yes... it was on Gessner. It had the best displays, and huge ones that rivaled even Chuck E Cheese at the time. It was a place where people around the country would purchase the elaborate displays; displays that would be sold in Macy's outrageous catalogs for the rich.

In my adult life I've been to the Christmas Markets in Germany/Austria, and this store truly was in the league with those stores/shops, all they lacked was the Gluhwein, beer and suasages!

It's fun for the whole family and they have like EVERYthing you've mentioned. It's a blast and all for a good cause (Houston Ballet).

Just a thought,

Ronnie
Yes, it's a nice thought but frankly, much of the Nutcracker Market merchandise is waaaaay overpriced. Most kids there are bored after an hour or so -- those who aren't are the exception.
