I have a job offer working for a company in downtown houston and little worried about rush hour traffic commuting to work every day on westparktoll way. I heard it's not that easy. Any feedback on the travel time and the traffic in rush hour is greatly appreciated.

I do not live in Katy so cannot speak from experience, but based on the Houston TranStart Speed Charts, traffic looks pretty rough between about 6:45 and 8:30 in the morning.

Go down the HOV/Toll lanes on I-10. Or just go down I-10, it's not bad at all. Ironically it will probably take you longer to get TO the freeway, than the freeway to downtown.

Its either Westpark Tollway or I-10 managed lanes. $$ to pay either ways. And you can get stuck on Westpark .... as someone from my office jokes... what part of 'West & Park' do you not understand

Agreed.
Depending on what time you leave in the morning and leave work, the traffic on I-10 is not that bad.
The cost of the toll lanes on I-10 is about the same as Westpark if you're commuting downtown.
