My favorite club in the early 90's. We use to head over to Lizard Lounge after Bayou mama and party til the sun came up.

Anybody out there remember going to Youngblood's for Fried Chicken? They served it with those little containers of honey, and you got wet-naps. I remember when we would go there from our house in Braesmont, we would go right by Mayor Louie Welch's house............which had a lawn jockey in the front yard!

If you want exact like exact address then no. But it was between westheimer and San Felipe on a street I believe named st. James. St James is between chimney rock and sage/post oak. Hope that helps

Thanks, kcatheart.

The exact address of Ocean Club was 1885 St. James Place. The building is still there.

I went to Bayou Mama's a couple of times, but my favorite clubs back then were Xcess (possibly before Bayou Mama's time), Red Square, Number's, and a few on Richmond that I can no longer remember. Does anyone remember a club called Houston Life? The DJ worked there and at Xcess, which had the best music in my opinion.
