Couldn't agree more with OP. There are much better chooses of cities to live in across the world than to waste your youth in Texas.

Hopefully the OP has found a place to live in the last 6 years.

We just need some massive earthquakes and massive movements in plate tectonics moving under each other. Just need Cuba to smash into Texas and pass under it. Simple!

Or maybe a massive asteroid that somehow majicaly has a soft landing right where you want that mountain. That would be much more likely to happen.

I'm perfectly fine with our "geographic location" I was just making fun of the thesis of this thread as other posters are doing as well. I am also fine with your attitude of our geographic location and the likelihood that you will not be visiting us anytime soon...

Texas has quite a variety of geomorphologies.

Lol.. Texas is the most diverse geographic location in the country.. We have the coast, the plains, the hill country, the mountains, the desert, the forest, practically everything.. All in one state.
Sounds like someone is envious of Texas.. Quit bumping multiple-year old threads to try and slander Texas and its cities.. Your posts say a lot more about you/where you're from than any of the trash talk you try to throw our way.

Or dig down in the hopes of triggering a volcano. Like this one that formed in a corn field in Mexico in 1943.

A soft landing asteroid is very unlikely. It would give off a lot of heat and create a massive explosion vaporizing Houston. Setting off an H-bomb would be less catastrophic.
