I didn't know they had either - I haven't been in so long. Now I have to go. Who else has buffalo burgers (besides Sweet Mesquite)? Sorry, didn't mean to hijack.

Pappamias on Westpark was my favorite. Bad location though........
I am not sure if Luby's is still a cafeteria. The name is gone...

I also highly recommend the sweet potato fries to go with it.

In 2001, Chris and Harris Pappas of Houston's Pappas Restaurants (owners of Pappasito's Cantina, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, etc.) joined the Luby's management team. Chris Pappas is Luby's CEO.
And now since Luby's bought Fuddruckers, Luby’s CEO Chris Pappas is turning much of his attention to Fuddruckers, which the company acquired this summer for the relatively inexpensive price of about $63 million.

Since the change, I do not eat at Luby's - I don't like their food anymore.
Don't forget Pappamia

Hate to say it, but I do enjoy the all you can eat breakfast at Luby's on weekend mornings. $5.

The catch is a drink of any kind except water is $2.

The location on 249 and Spring Cypress still seems to be run very well.

I wont defend the Pappas actions, but the food is still good.
