I live in Clear Lake area, close to Seabrook, where there are several fresh seafood markets. The seafood is so fresh and cheaper than what we get in MN. I would like to ship seafood back home to my folks and relatives in Minnesota. They are BIG seafood lovers.

I talked to the market owners there and they don't do shipping.
Is there a low costand good way to ship these boxes of food back to Minnesota? FedEx seems to be too expensive to ship as I like to ship them frequently.

I checked on USPS website for shipping a box of 50 lbs from Houston to MN. It costs ~$183 for express.

I think you're answering your own questions as to why seafood is so much cheaper and fresher.

Here's a place that overnights fresh lobster/seafood across the 48 states, they use FEDEX and you can see what they charge: The Fresh Lobster Company LLC: Shipping Policies, Fresh Seafood delivery, Online Seafood store, fresh seafood online
