I noticed there are trailers located in the back of this school in Pearland. Is there a problem with overcrowding at this school? What grades are in those trailers? Anything good or bad about this school, feel free to share.

Silverlake is an excellent school, but it is overcrowded. It is estimated that it will be at 121% capacity next year. They have rezoned some kids in apartments to Massey Ranch to help ease this. Silvercrest is also overcrowded. Pearland did just pass *open enrollment* so kids can go to any campus in PISD, but transportation would have to be provided by parents. The gifted academy will open next year as well and that is expected to ease some overcrowding on various campuses.

What is the student to teacher ratio? Due to the overcrowding do you know if each student has his or her own textbook or are 20 books shared between 40 students? I am aware some campuses (not in Pearland) are doing this.

Why is Silvercrest and Silverlake crowded compared to other elementary schools in Pearland?
