It is more correctly to be Lunar New Year. Many countries and ethnic groups are observing this Lunar new year tradition and are not at all Chinese decent in any shape of form.

Yes, but this is the year of the Rabbit. My granddaughter is obsessed with rabbits so this is fun for her.

I use to hate the firewroks whe I had vietnasmese neighbors. Too bad it always seeemd to fall on a work night. I enjoyed the dragon dancers on new years day tho.
