Well it was just in the 70's a day or two ago, so that sounds reasonable. Let's see what temperature your house is on Friday without your heater running.

My home is well insulated. If you have to use your heater then you should invest in getting your home insulated and you won't have to use the heater. Save ton of money.

LOL it doesn't matter how well insulated your house is, 3 or 4 days in the 20s and 30s outside and your house isn't going to be 68 degrees inside. Unless you live underground maybe, or you have no windows. Or you have some appliances or computers that are giving off some serious heat. Saying you shouldn't have to use your heater in this kind of extreme weather is ridiculous.

Try tinting your windows.

I have tile throughout my house. There is no way in he!! that my house would stay that warm without the heater running. And it's very well insulated.

The only way my house would stay that warm without the heater is if I had a fire going, and that heat would not reach the bedrooms.

I agree. I never turn mine on, and it is about 72 degrees inside even though I had the window in one of the bedrooms open yesterday
