Hello! How does this lovely school rank amongst private schools in Houston? It seems really great from tour. I'd love some thoughts from people who know the ins and outs of Houston private schools.

My friend goes there, its a great school. It honestly is, no worries. She likes it a lot, and she told me its a very good school to graduate from, it prepares you for college well.

I hear good things about it and it is highly regarded in the Houston community, for what it's worth. I don't have any personal experience with it, having boys, nor do I personally know anyone whose daughter goes there.

I know you want to hear from folks who actually have girls at Duchesne, but I can only add to what's already been said. According to friends who have daughters there, it really is a wonderful school and their girls love it. In response to your question about how it ranks compared to other private schools, St. John's and Kinkaid are often regarded as the top private schools in Houston, but Duchesne is right up there as well. I don't think you can go wrong.

My friends daughter went there and was very happy. She decided to leave after 8th to go to co-ed high school. She was accepted to every school she applied. It has a challenging curricullum.

This is so great. You don't usually get universally positive reviews about a school on forums like this. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I wonder if the school could do more to keep girls from leaving in 9th grade. I hear that a lot. Lovely school though. I'm very intrigued.
