I saw a pair this morning while driving on Bellfort in Willow Meadows. I would have sworn they were green and blue, though, not green and white. Really pretty. And cute they were a pair.

Seems cruel to catch them to sell at a flea market. Leave them alone and let them live in nature.

I've seen a family of these at 45 and Edgebrook area...they must be expanding their territory. Very beautiful birds...quite jumpy..couldnt get any photos because they flew off as soon as I got near to photograph them.

Since they seem to think that power towers and water towers make a good super structure for their condos, you can see where the problem lies. As you drive down 146, you can actually see some of the nests in the power towers now that you know what to look for. There are (were, I haven't checked recently) several on the water tower in Deer Park. I have gone bird watching to see these. The colonies are also quite noisy, these birds are very vocal.
Humans gather in large colonies and build huge structures with multiple openings to live and work in.

They show up in the backyard every so often. Very social birds with large nests/colonies.
Once I went to the mall and there was this large colony of human teenagers, they can get really loud and raucous. Also, there is an elementary school behind my house, everyday from 10:30 - 1:30 the noise of those tiny humans don't stop. They just don't shut up and they are loud.

And there seems to be hundreds of those schools in the Houston area.
