Need to start gearing up for the annual boil.

Who's bought by the sack recently? How much per lb, and are they getting any bigger yet? Last I checked a few weeks ago, it was $2.99/lb. and they were small-to-medium. Usually I try to wait until after Easter for prices to go waaay down, but Easter's so late this year I don't know if I can hold out.

Still a bit early as far as I can tell. Mostly small bugs so far. Just eating cooked ones at the local joints around town and waiting to do a boil in April, hopefully they'll be bigger by then.

Bump. Anyone know how much prices have come down this month?

I'm just going to buy a sack & boil for a few people on Sunday. I can't wait any longer. Hopefully at the store they an give me a better idea of where prices are headed.

Also, if anyone knows a wholesaler that gives discounts for small-ish bulk orders (300 lbs or so), I'm all ears.

I remember seeing a sign that said $1.39/pound. I believe I was in the Hong Kong Market, on Bellaire. Also, remember passing by a crawfish farm on I-10 near Beaumont.

Go to the Asian supermarkets. They have them at great price. I heard that some people stop by them crawfish farm and steal them. They pull the crates up and empty them. Probably would dirty your whole car.
