Well this is discouraging... I do not currently live in Houston but plan on moving to Houston once I complete my studies. Is it really that difficult to make friends let alone date in Houston? s-c-a-r-y :-)

Did you just say churches? How long did you stay at each church? If you keep moving from church to church how will you ever find friends...long lasting friends. It takes at least 3 months for me to make meaningful friends and I am an extrovert.

Let me clarify what I mean by the aforementioned. While I have no problems making friends, hanging out etc... When it comes to close friends I like to take my time and get to know them. That can be hard to do if someone is only going to spend a few weeks at a time at a church or organization etc...(of course the time frame is an assumption as I do not know how long you have spent at each church) but I'm sure you understand the gist of what I am saying...right?

If I had friends I would go out...I met a girl at work but she has 5 kids and very low self esteem and I definitely don't want to hang around someone like that...the others that I conversate with are either already married or just too damn old to do anything...If I had a friend to go out with I would definitely be willing to go and do things....
