I know the power of Google, but am coming up really short and I know the huge cross section of folks here may have a lighting/lamp do it yourselfer.

I'm looking to replace a threaded phenolic socket ring. Not the socket (which you can get in any big box store) - but the threaded type that go with pendant lighting or chandelier lighting. Its the ring that holds the fitter glass into the threaded socket that has been burned off in my pendant light (shattering the fitter glass as it smashed on the counter..)

I've called ever possible lighting store in Houston only to be told that they don't sell the parts, only will do the repairs.

I can find these online for under a dollar, but shipping is $10. So a local store that sells this kind of thing would be more useful to me.

Anyone? Thanks in advance!
