Elnina,

I just look at "the deal" valued at $111.000. TWO appies, two soup or salad, Two rolls, and Two cocktails. That just doesn't seem right. More like $75.00 max. Maybe they are leaving something out?

Normally when we go out for sushi, we are getting faaaaar more than that for around 110.00. Like two large hot saki's, several pieces of sushi (like 10+), a small sasimi plate, a couple rolls and the soup and salad are free.

^^^ OK, even if this is only $75 max, the $39 deal still seems to be good. They always value the deals way higher than they really are...

No doubt it's a discount, but I really question the $111.00 value in relation to other very good sushi places. Maybe it includes the fee for "seeing and being seen."

I've eaten at Crave, its good but overpriced. Too much like a sushi-bar/club atmosphere for me.

That's definitely not bad for $39. You can easily spend $70 for the items included. If the regular price is $111, then it's really overpriced. And I've gone to overpriced places!!

I second Oildog's review. The sushi is great but it's very pricey so $111 is probably not an exaggeration if the drinks are alcoholic drinks.

The Cheetah Roll is amazing. Highly recommend. There is a Desi Roll too that is really tasty.

Typical crappy sushi made by Chinese sweatshop labor. They try to dress these places up with a lucky cat statue, mood lighting, and swanky furniture, but the sushi is always sub-par. The rice is the absolute most important part of sushi (sushi needs sushi rice to be considered sushi) and so many of these places cannot make it right.

The only place with great sushi in Houston is Miyagi.
