My husband just came home from work looking pretty pissed off. Seems that a local restaurant made the rounds at the park 'n ride lot with a stick-on card that doesn't come off. We had to get out the tool box and find a razor blade scraper to scrape it off his window.

WTH? What happening to paper flyers under the wiper blades? Hubby said that there were lots of angry people grumbling about it in the lot.

Why isn't this kind of "advertising" regulated? My front foor is peeling from taped on flyers. It's a waste of paper & general nuisance. I'd vote for a law that made this BS illegal.

DH and I participate in a group who removes bandit signs in the 1960 area from I 45 to 249. Those stuck on, glued on the utility poles almost cannot be removed. Out solution is to get a can of spray paint as close to the color of the pole, it is usually galvanized metal, and just paint over the sign. Some of these outfits who put out home made hand lettered signs are what they are trying to appear to be.
Let the advertisers know they are turning away as many customers as they are getting.

The restaurant is Vida Loca Mexican Bar & Grill in Katy. Hubs called them to complain and the guy blamed it on the rain. Rain? We had 10 seconds worth of sprinkles here today.

Stick a bunch all over the door of his restaurant and see how much he enjoys them.

They actually had the nerve to say "come on by and we will remove it for you".

I would have called the police and reported it as vandalism. It is one thing to put a removable flier, quite another to deface a vehicle. Imagine if that had been on the paint instead of on the window.

We ate there once, the food sucks. I'll make sure to never go there again.
