Okay so hubby and I have been working on redoing our floors ourselves. We have ripped out ALL the hard wood and have worked on cleaning up the concrete to prep it for new leveling but it still needs more work. Only able to work on it on the weekends so it is taking longer than I would like. We have already ripped out carpet in the living room and laid the new wood flooring in there.
We are looking to get free quotes on cleaning up the concrete in our foyer, dinning room, and office and also include the leveling of said spaces. If reasonable we may even have them glue new flooring down. We already have all the supplies.
We already have one quote for the TOTAL remodel which broke down our prices so we have an idea of what it should be. Just was not impressed with the company. Not looking to get ripped off. Just looking to have my house back and quality work done. Looking for EXPERIENCED, TRUSTWORTHY floor installers. We have invested what we consider quite a bit of money into the flooring already and do not need somebody coming in and ruining it for us. Just being straight up.
We need somebody with references that works in the Atascocita area.

Finally had it, huh? It's hard work - but it looks great! Let me know if you end up going with someone. We may eventually redo our floors...but that would mean getting rid of the tile that' in 85% of our house....Ugh.

I'm the one doing most of the grunt work so yes I have had it. On top of laundry and kids. Hubby is fussing abt hiring it out so I doubt he will agree to it unless it is a really good quote. He is off to get dust masks right now. I want to picket out in i=front of the house right abt now!!
