Hi guys,

I heard there will be fireworks during this weekend and I would like to take my kids to have fun. Could you help me to know the locations or the nearest to me ??

I am at Eldridge parkway 77077.

Check Out 2011 Local Fireworks Festivities - Entertainment News Story - KPRC Houston (http://www.click2houston.com/entertainment/28260550/detail.html - broken link)

Check above for the public ones (several have been cancelled). There is a ban on individual fireworks.

Freedom over TX has awesome fireworks!! It's hot and VERY crowded though, so that's what deters me. But you should go at least once. Bring lawn chairs or blankets to stay comfortable, and lots of money to buy cold drinks. Have fun!

Houstonfan is right. Freedom Over Texas is really cool and definitely worth going despite the heat and crowds. I went a few years ago and had a great time. I don't think fireworks are happening anywhere else.
