EPA: All Texas plants with state permits must reapply | Houston & Texas News | Chron.com - Houston Chronicle

More worthless environmental strong arming by the Obama administration. The permits were ok under the 1990 Clean Air Act. What a waste, the EPA continues to be a joke. If the goal was about cleaning the air and water then I'd say ok. If its to push "green" political agendas (that means you ethanol, looks kind of like that MTBE idea now doesn't it). Houston has about 70% of the nations petrochemical market, so its another jab at Houston and Texas.

I like breathing clean air and drinking clean water.
I rather lose a few jobs than lose a few friends.

Smothering industry with paperwork isn't the solution to insuring cleaner air and water.

Try losing your own job first big shot before volunteering others.

If creating jobs is the #1 priority, then marijuana should be legalized to create 1000s of jobs.

Could someone please explain to me why someone's need for a job, and a company's need to sell a product take priority over other folks need to breathe.
