A lot of vegetarian restaurants seem slightly run down inside, not nice enough to take clients there. I would go to PF Chang because even though it is a chain, it is reliably clean and well-maintained.

baba yega should be good.

indica has enough veggie dishes, and they'll like being in an indian restaurant. most folks from india arent exactly "epicurious", so they like to just stick with indian food no matter where they are. hehehe

i have also noticed that most mexican restaurants can easily modify their dishes to vegetarian because of the nature of tex-mex cuisine. but if your guests are picky they might be uncomfortable about trusting that no lard or boths were used in making their food.

oooh i almost forgot, there is this vegetarian restaurant in that strip center next to whole foods on alabama and kirby. i think its across the street from that place that serves chocolate(?)

man, i forget the name, but you cant miss it. just drive west down alabama heading towards kirby and you'll see it on the right.

ziggy's on fairview serves half an acorn squash steamed up with honey, pecans, and whip cream. its pretty good. i know its not a dazzling concoction of ingrediants and preperation, but its pretty filling.

.
I think you're referring to Field of Greens. That's pretty good, though super casual (they do serve fish there, salmon, I think). Mostly sandwiches and soups.

Good suggestion. Baba Yega has the pretty garden, has a large menu, and is a nice place to take out-of-town guests.
