COH has an electronics dump at Westpark around Rice. Pull through the building and they take it out of your trunk or truck bed for you. I just unloaded 6 old CPU's two weeks ago. Great service

Waste Management will take it on Saturdays from Curbside.

Agreed. I had a 57 inch TV that I desperately wanted to get rid of. I first tried to sale it on Craigslist for almost nothing, but didn't find any buyers. I then decided to call 1800GOTJUNK and scheduled a pick up. But I also posted it on the free section of craigslist. I was amazed at how many responses I got. People obviously surf CL for items that are being given away. I ended up giving it to a college student that came to my house with a rented truck and two of his friends.

If you really want to get rid of it, post it on CL and be prepared for a lot of responses.

You know - if I push an old appliance, tv etc. to the curb (like it is being put out for heavy trash pick-up) and go inside -- usually within 30 minutes, the thing is gone by someone who has driven by and wanted my trash. Works every single time.

I am moving and need to get rid of a 36" tube tv. It works perfectly. Can't take it with me. No one wants it, not even new buyers.
What charitable organization will pick it up. Im in a dilemma. Moving in 2 days.
