If its hot then I want it to rain like in the summer. If its cool then I wanted to clear and cool with low humidity with no rain.

Little cooler at night, but still very hot during the day. Upper 90's, near 100F... not much relief.
Next week, back to heat again
I want to see 60F tonight!

That's San Antonio, not Houston

Here's Houston. It's still in the low 90s or high 80s for a high, but not in the 100s

Still no rain though.

I don't know what the high was yesterday but I was working on my back patio (shaded) all day and it felt like SEX.

I would mark today as the day the temps began to trend downward... maybe not by much, but I awoke to find a nice cool breeze in Magnolia this morning. Maybe all the trees had something to do with it, but it was a change for sure. I got back to Katy and it is still nice outside.
