It is great, but I'm sure you guys are eating a lot of dust... hopefully it will be over soon We are hoping that by the time we move in (August) our street will be mostly build...

The ammount of construction going on in that side of Katy is insane... Very exciting times... now we need some commercial stuff to start popping up!!!

As for growth in this part of town and being a risk...

I have read reports that Houston would become the #2 city in the nation in population by 2050, we certainly have the land to expand...

I also ready that the corner of westgreen and I-10 would be the center of the metropolitan area in Houston by then... so who knows... I remember in 1990 anything outside of the beltway felt like it was too far away....

I think eventually there won't be anymore houses inside the loop and you'll start seeing medium high rises... but for this city to truly grow I think you will need bigger pockets of jobs available away from downtown/galleria area... we already have them in the woodlands / energy corridor, but they need to get much bigger to support the growth...
