Hello, so i got a ticket in the mail from one of the great red light cameras.
Should I pay?
what can happen?
can they issue an arrest warrent like other traffic violations?

it is my understanding that if it was during a time where it was being enforced you must still pay, and is treated like an unpaid traffic violation if you don't.

It's a civil violation, so no, you can't get arrested for it if you don't pay. They also can't/won't enforce it and I do not believe there are any consequences if you don't pay it.

That being said, when I got one, I paid it. I figured I broke the law so I have to answer to the consequences.

Wait till BaytownB gets a hold of this one -- a new tirade on red light cameras, rip-offs, illegal comments, etc. Was it from Houston or a city that still enforces cameras?

so can you PLEASE stop running red lights ?

The 16 year old driver is more scary, imo.
