I'm looking at purchasing a few larger oak trees that can be delivered and planted. I'm not sure of the gallon size, but maybe 45/60 gallon trees. I'm not an arborist, so forgive me if I'm wrong.

I know I've seen some places where they can deliver and plant the tree for $350, but the only place I found does it for $500.

Not so much concerned about price, but more so about the quality of the tree.

Thanks!

Contact Trees Inc. I don't think they sell them - but they will know who does and which sell the healthiest plants.

I have purchased several trees from RCW. The trees are thriving for 7 and 10 years.

You may want to wait before purchasing and planting new trees right now with the drought. Our oak trees are approx 5 years old and they are having a tough time right now. I have to go out and water them every night or the one looks really pitiful. Even the Myrtles are looking sad and have not even really bloomed.

Big Tex Trees doesn't honor their warranty, whether they plant the tree, or not. FWIW. If a $2000.00 tree that they plant, craps out within the warranty period, it's something the homeowner caused. .....But, they are happy to sell you another one for 50% off. Which, btw, is their 24/7 sales promotion to begin with.

Don't get live oak trees. Well not unless you enjoy raking leaves in the spring. I hate that.

Hello-

I am looking for a larger sized Live Oak for my lawn and was wondering if you had anything to share about your experience.

Thanks,
