I know it sucks. Benders Landing in Spring is adjacent to Riverwalk in Porter. You could walk from one to the other in 5 minutes but it takes 40 minutes to drive between them. The Grand Parkway will connect them if that ever gets funded. We work in Kingwood but were considering buying in Benders Landing. I joked to my wife that we should buy adjacent lots at the back of each neighborhood and keep 2 cars and we could just walk over and cut 25 minutes off our commute.

It is because Montgomery County Commissioners will not develop anything that makes sense. Rayford Road in Bender's Landing doesn't even tie in with the main thoroughfare of Rayford Road that the OP is talking about. I think that it should ultimately tie in with Northpark Drive in Kingwood. But, that would make to much sense.

seriously? so, you guys feel you live in a nice part of town. that's why you live there, right? so it is natural other people would want to move there too, increasing population. With increased population comes demand for business, services, infrastructure. That is growth. It happens, if you dont like it, move further out...or move to a crappy part of town.
