We have finally received an offer on our house with a closing date of July 20.
We will have to move quickly. Will want to store our goods for about three months. Can you recommend a moving/storage company in the Houston area? We will be moving to Loveland, Colorado, or to Huntsville, AL. Does anyone have a general idea of storage cost? Thanks for any info.

wish I would have seen then is June, A-Rocket would have met that demand and took great care of your goods in the meantime. There is no better way to store your goods in a nicely climate controlled facility with alarms system and armed security guards!

I just moved to Houston from Chicago and I stored my stuff in a POD for 3 months. I was unable to pack the POD myself in Chicago due to zoning regulations, so I had to use an independent moving company to take my stuff out to the POD warehouse and load it there.

They were able to load the contents of my 2BR/2BA condo into a single 16' unit. It cost me just under $400 month for storage (this included the storage fee and the insurance)
and the move cost $1500. (additional movers on both ends, plus packing, etc. on top of that...)

Overall, it was a very positive experience and I would recommend using PODS.
